According to recent reports, Osama bin Laden has been killed in an elaborate shoot-out reminiscent of classic western films. His body has been buried at sea after officials declared it to be his based on facial recognition.
Bin Laden had several doubles, which contributed to the difficulty of our tracking him down. How "facial recognition" is suddenly an acceptable means of announcing his death to the world is bizarre. Burial at sea seems convenient also and prevents something more substantial or scientific - like DNA analysis - from occurring.

Personally i would assume that the CIA has done something a little bit more than just facial recognition even if the article says that that didn't occur. Because of the vast doubles he has just facial recognition probably wouldn't be enough. Even with this in mind, i am not someone who doesn't trust our government and army so if they say it is him then it is probably him, the vast amount of brainpower they have on their staff could easily identify someone and since there hasn't been an terroist activity credited to him i assume he's gone.
