That's what the editors should have called this article.
Actually, the author lists and ranks thrill sports. (They all earned 10/10 in my world. And I surf.)
Which ones would you follow?

I profess to be a hardcore thrill sports guy, but I have to find it within myself to actually go out and do something like this oftentimes. I feel I would be most comfortable with the Bungee jump and the canyon swing because of my experience with roller coasters and the ability to just close your eyes or enjoy the view, and come out unscathed. Skydiving would be very hard for me, though. I feel I am being overly cautious and it is not that bad once you do it, as the author who has done all of these activities only rated it a 7/10, but the fact that I have to act in a state of complete fear or die a horrible death scares me too much for comfort.
ReplyDeleteI am not very surprised that New Zealand prides itself on tourism and would love to go there- just not for these activities tough. I am not too big on thrill activities and feel that some of these would be a little risky and reckless for me. SOme may be fun though, like skydiving and I wonder what it would be like compared to in the U.S. in terms of looking down on the land. I feel though that the author is a little biased in his judgements if he was willing to do all of these activities. In any case, I think they were all scary enough in their own ways to make me not want to do most of them.
